Principles for cooperation in legal services of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization

Abstract

The development of interregional legal service cooperation in the SCO is an important measure within the SCO to align with the strategy of the Belt and Road Initiative and the Eurasian Economic Union and serve economic and trade exchanges. Legal service cooperation involves the transfer of judicial sovereignty, and on the basis of respecting the sovereignty of member states, political mutual trust should be enhanced through consultation, co-construction and sharing, and cooperation should be gradually promoted to higher quality and deeper development, and finally an equal, open and win-win cooperation order should be established.
