The Conceptions of the Value of a State in Russian Philosophy of XIX–XX Centuries
Abstract
Russian philosophy of religion represents a specific world outlook within the frames of which traditional issues concerning the world and being of a man in it, social life, and historic process were interpreted. A state and law from the point of view of Russian philosophers of XIX–XX centuries get their value substantiation. However they are of value not by themselves but as those arising from inward, spiritual life of a man. Especially clear it is expressed by F. M. Dostoevsky, V. S. Solovyev, P. I. Novgorodtsev, and I. A. Ilyin by way of example of whom the author offers to consider the conception of the value of a state as different from a western one, and thereby representing special interest as a property of an exclusively Russian philosophical thought.
