Cities of Federal Significance and Cities-Länder: General and Special
Abstract
The article examines the legal phenomenon of cities of federal significance in a comparative law perspective and confronts it with a German city-Land. It focuses on the questions of territorial structure and organization of public power in a city of federal significance and a city-Land. It also deals with the possibility of reforming a domestic model of territorial structure and government organization in cities of federal significance subject to German experience.
