The concept of investments in the international law

Abstract

The article addresses the concept of the investments in the international law and analyzes international investment regulation. In addition, it sheds the light on different approaches developed by Russian and foreign scholars and considers the experience of International Courts of Arbitration in terms of investment activities. Based on this analysis it suggests new tendencies in approaching the investment in the international law and presents an attempt to explain these tendencies.
