Some Current Trends of Development of the Tort Liability Institute (Comparative and Legal Aspect)
Abstract
This article studies the trends of current development of the civil liability institute in the countries of the European Community and in Russia. The tort liability institute is regarded as a complex system of rules which govern compensation for the damaged caused and which are aimed at preventing damages. Thus, the rules on public entities’ liability for the damaged caused are of particular importance in the system of rules which govern the tort liability. One of the main achievements of the institute’s development is an enhanced protection of personal rights and interests of citizens.
