Abstract

The author of the article studies the problems of imposition of criminal liability for atmospheric pollution, distinguishing between criminal atmospheric pollution and administrative offences stipulated by art. 8.12 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Offences, as well as the problems of interpretation of the notion “pollution” used in the disposition of part 1, art. 251 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
