Abstract

This article considers various situations and circumstances of certain hazards in some areas of the global ocean, such as linear and ball lightings of various types, lots of different meteorites hitting the ship, or deadly gas clouds that may entangle the ship and other dangers. Besides that, it suggests the concrete ways to protect the ship and the crew both from traditional hazards and also from those anomalous dangers that sometimes lead to the demise of ships and deaths of people.
