On the integrated approach to study Ancient Indian law

Abstract

Notwithstanding its archaism, traditional law system of Ancient India had been ensuring social stability, in particular legal and political one, for thousands of years. This article criticizes certain issues of methodology used to study Ancient Indian law. In particular, the article specifies the scope of research while analyzing the law system of Ancient India.
