Abstract

The article enlightens the key events in the life and career of professor V.S. Trakhterov. The article analyses scientific achievements of the criminal law scientist and defines his contribution to the development of capacity and incapacity problems in the Soviet criminal law. The conclusion is made about the importance of the scientist’s activity in maintaining and developing the Kharkov school of criminal law.
