Compliance of criminal and criminal procedural law with the Statute of the International Criminal Court
Abstract
This article discusses issues of compliance of criminal and criminal procedural legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan with the Statute of the International Criminal Court. The author notes that the states that have ratified the Statute of the International Criminal Court should harmonize legal acts in the field of criminal law and criminal procedural law. Otherwise it is impossible to provide adequate conditions for cooperation with the ICC. Based on the research, the author substantiates the necessity to make several amendments to the criminal law and criminal procedural legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan.
