Problems of preventing the violation of the rights of parents and children living in different states in the context of implementation of provisions of the Hague conventions 1980 and 1996
Abstract
This article considers the issue involving application on the intergovernmental level of the universal legal mechanisms regulating relations between parents and children who live in different states. The author identifies and substantiates the efficiency of an accurate legal mechanism to protect the rights of children according to the Hague conventions 1980 and 1996. The author analyzes the benefits of joining of the Russian Federation to the specified Hague conventions. The article also shows the characteristics and difficulties of international legal regulation of this issue in respect of Russia.
